| The principal purchaser of our processed granite exports was the
Russian Federation with $1.1 million. Exports of Turkmenistan
and the United States were $1.2 million and $176,000. In 2002, exports to the Russian
Federation were perked up by 85% in 2002 to $2 million and to Turkmenistan
by 51% to $1.8 million. In third place, exports to the United States broke a record
with a 780% surge to $1.5 million.
Kazakhstan was fourth also multiplying its purchase from the $112,000 in 2001 by 751% to $951,000.
Total processed granite exports were heightened to $9.2 million in 2002, a 112% ascent
from the $4.3 million in 2001.
